Coleen Workinger is a senior paralegal for the firm. Coleen provides day-to-day support for the attorneys in all aspects of the firm’s practice. She has worked at Wernick Law since 2023 and previously worked with Aaron Wernick for an extended period of time at another law firm.

Coleen has more than 20 years of legal experience. During much of that time, she has focused on bankruptcy law, including Chapter 11 business, individual, and Subchapter V cases. Coleen is adept at handling all parts of a Chapter 11 case from start to finish. Her strengths include critical thinking and problem solving and the ability to work well under pressure, in addition to navigating the myriad of programs and software involved in managing a bankruptcy case.

Coleen’s substantial professional experience is enhanced by her educational background. She obtained an Associate Degree in Legal Studies from Palm Beach State College in 1994, after being on the Dean’s list and honor roll every semester. She also attended Palm Beach Community College, where she studied financial and commercial banking and accounting. In addition, Coleen is an NALA Certified Paralegal and is also certified in Westlaw legal research.

After growing up in Palm Beach County, Coleen moved to St. Lucie County, where she lives now. When she’s not working, Coleen enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite activities include going to theme and adventure parks, gardening, reading, fishing, traveling, and swimming.
